  • Insert batteries, assemble the mobile by connecting the arc to the roof of the birdhouse, and get ready to let the magic begin.

  • Position and firmly secure the two-stage mobile to the tub, making sure that the pump is immersed in water. Designed for newborns and doubling as a bath toy for sitting babies, the mobile comes with two different battery covers.

  • Stage 1 Baby Bath Tub– A yellow clip-on battery cover that fits most baby bathtubs

  • Stage 2 Full Size Bath Tub– A suction cup battery cover for easy attachment to full-size bathtubs

  • Press the bird button to start a fascinating, multisensory water show. The colorful flowers spin and sprinkle water as the swiveling bird sprays a gentle stream, exposing newborns and infants to the wonders of water through a fun and soothing experience that engages all of their senses.

  • Control the water flow intensity and flower rotation speed, so that it is anywhere from a soft trickle to a dancing-in-the-rain sprinkle. Do this by adjusting the water intensity controller, ensuring that while your baby has fun, you and the bathroom stay dry.

  • Turn the bird or even the arc itself away from your baby if reduced stimulation is desired.

  • Swivel the arc to redirect the water sprinkles and gentle stream to different angels or directions.

  • When it’s time to say goodbye, the arc disassembles for flat and compact storage.

FAQ

  • Is it safe to use this battery-operated products under water?

Yes. The Sensory Bath Mobile upholds the most stringent safety standards (ASTM, EN71, ect’) and is IPX7 waterproof certified, ensuring the utmost safety in using battery operated products when immersed in water. Still, please follow these guidelines to ensure optimal safe use of the product:

    • 1. Use 4 X AA (LR6) batteries only.

    • 2. WARNNING: don’t use rechargeable batteries.

    • 3. Use quality batteries of a known brand.

    • 4. Make sure the battery compartment is tightly sealed after every time you change the batteries.

  • Is this product BPA free?

Yes, this product is BPA free.

  • What age is this product for?

This product is recommended for children ages 0-24 months. No matter what their age, you should never leave a child unattended in the bathroom or bathtub.

  • Is a tub included in this toy?

No, a tub is not included with this toy.

  • How do I operate the Sensory Bath Mobile for the first time?

Before you can start enjoying your new bath toy, choose a battery cover that fits your tub and insert batteries. We strongly recommend using new, good quality batteries to ensure optimal operation over time. After inserting the batteries, close the compartment tightly, and connect the mobile to the bath so that the blue pump at the end of the green hose is immersed in water. Once the mobile is set up, turn it on using the bird button and control the water intensity using the orange water intensity controller on the side. When using new batteries it is recommended to start with the lowest water intensity level.

  • What type of batteries are needed to operate the product?

4 X AA (LR6) batteries (not included) of good quality and known brand. WARNNING: don’t use rechargeable batteries.

  • How do I insert the batteries?

Attention! Before inserting the batteries, ensure the product is thoroughly dry! To insert batteries, first you must open the four screws on the battery cover (clip-on or suction cup battery cover, depending on the bathtub). Insert 4 x 1.5v AA (LR6) batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment with the relevant battery cover and screw it into place using a Phillips head screwdriver. Before putting the mobile back in the water, make sure the battery compartment is tightly sealed.

  • I inserted batteries but the Sensory Bath Mobile is still not working. What can I do?

Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly. First, dry off the product thoroughly, then follow the above instructions to verify correct polarity, insertion, and proper sealing of the battery compartment. Try operating the product once more. If it still doesn’t work, try using new batteries and clean the propeller and filter, as described below. If that too doesn’t get the water flowing, please contact our customer support center.

  • How do I attach the Sensory Bath Mobile to the tub?

If you are using a baby bathtub, release the flower shaped screw on the clip on battery cover to open the clamp. Place the birdhouse inside the tub and the clamp around the edge and tighten the flower screw. If you are using a full-size bathtub, simply attach the mobile to the side of the tub using the blue suction cups battery cover.

  • What should I do if the mobile isn’t attaching securely?

If you are trying to attach the mobile to a tub with thick edges, make sure the birdhouse is properly positioned inside the tub and turn the flower screw clockwise to secure tightly. If you are using a thin edged tub, turn the flower screw counterclockwise to open the clamp once more. Lift up the orange lever hidden inside the clamp and place it against the outside of the tub. Reposition the birdhouse inside the tub and the clamp around the edge, then turn the flower screw clockwise to secure tightly.

  • I’m trying to attach the mobile to the tub, but it is falling off. What should I do?

You may be using the wrong battery cover for your bathtub. The cover with the yellow clamp attaches easily to most baby bathtubs, while the cover with the blue suction cups attaches to full size bathtubs.

  • How do I start the water flow?

Before pressing the power button, make sure the pump is immersed in water. To start the water flow, press on the large, orange bird button inside the birdhouse.

  • I don’t want the water stream to be aimed directly at my baby, what should I do?

Slow exposure to the sprinkling water usually ensures a better bath time play experience. We recommend you turn the arc and the bird away from the baby’s body at first, and gradually introduce the water stream and sprinkles. Start by sprinkling water on the legs, and when the baby is comfortable, begin introducing the stream of water to other body parts. Slowly move the water around to learn what your baby likes best.

  • The water flow and flower rotation speed seem too high for my baby. Can I adjust them?

On the side of the birdhouse there is an orange water intensity controller with three drop sizes for setting three water flow intensity levels. Slide the controller button to set the water flow intensity and the speed of the rotating flowers to match your baby’s reactions. Gradually increase the intensity to stimulate the senses and help your baby get used to the water flow.

  • The water from the mobile is splashing out of the tub and wetting the floor. Is there anything I can do about this?

On the side of the birdhouse there is an orange water intensity controller with three drop sizes for setting three water flow intensity levels. Slide the controller button to set the water flow intensity and the speed of the rotating flowers to the mobile’s surroundings and avoid splashes outside the tub.

  • What should I do if I notice mold has developed?

It is recommended to properly rinse, drain, and dry out the product after every use. Unless you do that, Yookidoo® bath toys will need a good cleaning every few weeks or so, in order to remain mold-free. When a thorough cleaning is required, fill up a bucket with water and add in some vinegar. Let the mobile soak in the vinegar water for around 20 minutes, then then activate it a few times to circulate the water through it. Repeat this step with clean water to wash out the vinegar. Rinse the spout off and dry using a paper or cloth towel.

  • What do I do if the Sensory Bath Mobile stops working?

    • 1. Get it out of the water, shake it, put it back in the water and turn it on again.

    • 2. The circulating water pump may stop working when the batteries die and when the propeller or filter are blocked by dirt, hair, or soap. To fix this, simply unscrew the filter located on the side of the blue pump at the end of the green hose, and pull it out. Wash with soap and water until the filter mesh is clean. Then make sure the propeller rotates freely. If it doesn’t, try to release whatever is causing it to be stuck with a screwdriver and clean it off until it rotates freely again. When the mobile is sparkly clean, reinsert the filter and attach the screw.

    • 3. If it is still not splashing water, change the batteries and make sure to tightly close the battery compartment lid (see instructions above).

    • 4. If the product still doesn’t work, please contact our customer support center.

  • How often should I clean the filter?

The filter should be cleaned every time the batteries are replaced.

  • I replaced the batteries and found that there was water in the battery compartment. What should I do?

The battery compartment may not have been closed properly. It is very important to make sure the cover is sealed correctly. Before re-operating, unscrew the battery cover with a Phillips head screwdriver and take out the batteries. Wipe the compartment, cover, and batteries and leave to dry. Only when completely dry, insert the batteries, screw the cover tightly into place, and try to operate the product. If the mobile still doesn’t work, please contact our customer support center.

  • How should I store the mobile between baths?

Pull the green arc out of the birdhouse, turn it sideways, and connect it to its base using the short branch for a flat and compact storage position.

  • What is the date code and where can I find it on the product?

The Yookidoo date code number helps us track the production date of the product. The mobile’s date code is located on the back of the blue pump at the end of the green hose. It is a five-digit number, that ends with letters.
